Violence on the Sinai Peninsula

On Friday, men armed with rifles and explosives attacked a mosque on the Sinai Peninsula, killing 305 unarmed worshippers during midday prayers. This attack is the biggest in what has become a pattern of violence in this undergoverned part of Egypt, and Egyptian President El-Sisi has given the army three months to secure the territory.
