Craig Whiteside

Craig Whiteside is an associate Professor of National Security Affairs for the Naval War College Monterey (located at the Naval Postgraduate School). Craig came to the War College from Washington State University, where he earned a PhD in Political Science and taught American Government and National Security Affairs. Prior to his time at Washington State, Professor Whiteside was an infantry officer in the U.S. Army and an Iraq war veteran. His dissertation investigated the political worldview of the Islamic State movement. He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy and the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College.
