On this episode of Airman Pulse, Col. Michael Policastro joins Jen to talk about the role he played in caring for the health and wellbeing of airmen. He is an emergency medicine and medical toxicology physician. He was also a member of a specialized Air Force medical unit called the critical care air transport team for 10 years and now commands a reserve medical squadron at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, including those critical care air transport teams he served on. Before serving in the Air Force, Michael was an emergency physician in many hospitals while teaching others how to do the same.
