Imperial War Museum Hosts Art of WWI Exhibition

For any of our London-based readers looking for something to do this weekend, we’ve got a suggestion for you.  Check out the Imperial War Museum’s “Truth and Memory” exhibition.  From IWM’s website:

The largest exhibition of British First World War art for almost 100 years, this major retrospective reveals how artists helped commemorate the First World War and shape a memory of the conflict that endures to this day.

And if any of you know of similar exhibitions elsewhere, we’d love to hear about them!

Kathleen J. McInnis is a PhD candidate at the Department of War Studies, King’s College London and a Research Consultant at Chatham House.  She served as a Pentagon strategist from 2006-2009.  She is the editor of the WOTR series, Art of War.
