September 3, 2015

The State Department has released a large cache of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s emails, sent to and from her private email server. They can be perused here and are fully searchable. Many of the documents are redacted, but there is plenty of interesting stuff to be found.

What do you think? Did Hillary Clinton and her staff at the State Department handle classified information inappropriately? We have a comments section, so chime in!

  1. Somebody on team clinton is in serious trouble
“When the State Department released the latest batch of e-mails from Clinton’s server that were not deleted, officials acknowledged that over 150 of the e-mails contained what the government now deems classified information. At least six of the e-mails classified after the fact were written or sent by Clinton herself. The intelligence community’s inspector general concluded that at least two e-mails found on the server contained “top secret” information. Several reports stated these two e-mails contained discussion of classified intelligence gleaned from spy satellites, some of the most sensitive information held by the government.”

Had anyone else even mishandled one Secret or Top Secret document inside a secure facility or tried leaving the facility, they would
    1. Have their security clearance suspended pending the investigation
    2. Be suspended from their jobs pending investigation. Military or Civil Service they would be on some duty outside of their SCIF they worked in. Contractor would certainly be removed from that facility and contract (likely fired)
    3. They would be facing an investigation and pending federal charges
