Episode Notes:

Over the past several months, sporadic diplomatic talks between Russia and Ukraine have had little impact on the course of the conflict.

Joining us to discuss what this portends for the future is Oleg Ignatov, senior analyst for Russia at the International Crisis Group.

Before joining Crisis Group, Oleg worked at the Center for Current Policy in Moscow and as a political consultant for the United Russia party. He has a Ph.D. in philosophy from Moscow State University. He also participated in track-two negotiations between Russia and Ukraine between 2017 and 2019.
