Episode Notes:
As of Tuesday morning, State Department officials emphasized they were still seeking a diplomatic path forward with Moscow. At the same time, they warned that the threat of a Russian invasion of Ukraine remained very real.
Here to discuss this risk, and the way NATO might respond to it, is Lt. Gen. (ret.) Ben Hodges. Hodges currently holds the Pershing Chair in Strategic Studies at the Center for European Policy Analysis. Among many other assignments, he served as commanding general of U.S. Army Europe from 2014 to 2017.
