Episode Notes:

The Red Cross Donut Dollies served in World II, the Korean war, and the war in Vietnam. Their stories of service and experiences in war are unfamiliar to most Americans, but they have been in combat zones and helped support U.S. forces. Kerry talks with her mom, Jinita Boyd, about her time as a Donut Dolly in Vietnam, including her memories of the time, her sense of purpose and service, and the lessons she brought home with her.
