Episode Notes:
Ankit sat down with Clint Work, a fellow and director of academic affairs at the Korea Economic Institute of America, to discuss non-nuclear strategic deterrence on the Korean peninsula. The conversation focused on South Korea's investments in capabilities to hold at risk and, if necessary, target North Korea, as well as possible tensions in the U.S.-South Korean relationship over these capabilities and the risk of inadvertent escalation. Clint and Ankit also discussed the history of South Korean investment in these capabilities and contemporary developments in the field.
