Episode Notes:

Rob Trsek sits down with retired Air Force Brig. Gen. Robert “Blend’r” Novotny (ret.), a career F-15 fighter pilot who commanded at every level across 28 years in uniform, closing out his service as commander of the 57th Wing at Nellis Air Force Base. The two former squadronmates trace Novotny’s path from building model airplanes as a kid to the Weapons School, operational test, and wing command on both sides of the Atlantic. Novotny also reflects on what the Air Force gave him, his move into the defense industry, and where he believes fighter aviation is headed.
