The Iranian parliament approved all 19 members of newly-elected President Masoud Pezeshkian’s proposed cabinet on Wednesday, the first time there has been unilateral approval since 2001. Hamidreza Azizi, a visiting fellow at the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP) in Berlin and a research associate at the Clingendael Institute, joined the WarCast to discuss the appointments.
