In Ethiopia, General Asamnew Tsige, the suspected architect behind a coup attempt in the region of Amhara, has been captured and killed. Today, a service for the country's assassinated military chief has been held while the country's ethnic divisions, economic crosswinds, and sweeping political reforms cast turbulence and uncertainty to the situation.
