Xi’s Rule without Term Limits
Bucking decades of norms and policies, the Chinese National People’s Congress is poised to remove presidential term limits. This will effectively allow Xi Jinping to remain ruler for life. Based on the precedence of Mao, this does not bode well for China. Ryan Hass, a David M.
