Syria’s northwest, centered on Idlib province, is the final redoubt of the country’s insurgents in their fight against the regime of Bashar al-Assad — their last castle. That fight — between the Idlib-centric insurgency and the Assad regime — is not America’s fight, nor is it the fight of its Western allies.
