  1. Sorry Ryan, I think James’ has the more solid rationale here. Such limited support would not, IMHO, fundamentally retard the development of independent ISF action, on the contrary embedding coalition military personnel at mid level command would probably address most of the organisational deficiencies listed previously. We are not talking about large scale war-fighting by US ground forces.
